FIRST EVER GIVEAWAY!! **CLOSED**

I don't know about you, but I love going out to my mailbox to check my mail for that one in a billion chance I got a card or a random check that I had forgot I was expecting. Then I get all bummed when all I get is junk mail and bills.

Well how about getting something in the mail the super cool and totally FREE?

CSNstores contacted me the other day and asked if I would be interested in doing a giveaway or a product review. I felt like someone had just handed me a bag of chocolate and told me I could either eat it all myself or share. And you know what a delimma THAT can be!

Honestly, I was tempted to go for the review because then I would get to keep the product!! But then, I decided that all you awesome people deserve something for taking sympathy on me and reading my blog. Even commenting once in a while so I didn't feel like I was talking to myself.

The cool thing about this giveaway is you get to choose between TWO products!

Looking for something ultra-fun for your kids or grandkids? Need to be the "cool" aunt or uncle? How about this!

Boikido 50 Pieces Blocks

Includes 50 blocks in all kinds of shapes and colors each imprinted with multiple different images, stripes, dots, animals, items, etc. Great for building dexterity skills, hand eye coordination, and sorting skills. Made of highest quality materials it will last a very long time and become a cherished part of any child's play time! Comes with a great storage bag, too.

OR, need a fun date idea for you and your special someone? How about a cool party idea?

Rival 3 QT. Stainless Steel Fondue Set

8 forks are included for dipping and cool touch handles make for easy transporting to the table. Easy to assemble and easy clean up with a non stick bowl.

(giveaway open to US and Canada readers)

To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me which of the items you would love to have!

For a second entry, blog about this giveaway and leave a seperate comment telling me that you did, so I can come see and pretend that I'm famous.

The winner will be randomly choosen on Monday, January 18th!

And then I'll have to be totally jealous of the winner. =)
Good luck!!

How fun that you were chosen and nice of you to choose to give it away. I'd want to keep it too. :)
I'd love to win the fondue set. I've never had one and it looks fun.

The Boikido Blocks would be pretty awesome for my son's first birthday, coming up on March 3rd!

And since this is the first comment I've left you, I suppose I should say who I am - a friend of a friend in Mississippi. I came across your blog many months ago from her blog and haven't been able to turn away since. I love your writing, and learning about all the fun big families have (not sure how big we'll get, but #1 is not even a year and we're already expecting #2...)

Angel Day said...

Oooh Sarah...I want the Boikido Blocks. I don't have a blog so I can't do the second part.

Elizabeth said...

Ooh, Serene, you must be famous if someone is asking you to do a giveaway!! Well, I showed William the picture of the blocks and asked if he would like those. He nodded emphatically, so blocks it is! I hope I win! :)

Those blocks are simply adorable. The fondue set would be fun, but I'm sure it wouldn't get as much use as the blocks. Unless I had a pot of chocolate simmering 24/7, but that's probably a bad idea.

So to be clear, the blocks.

Blocks blocks blocks - sorry I don't comment often - I'm just not sure you even remember me, and I don't want to feel stalker-ish.

Madame Coin said...

Those blocks look like so much fun!

I love reading your adventures, Serene.

Marlyce said...

Well the blocks looks awesome but the fondue set would be fun too. How fun for you to be chosen. I think Kinley would love the blocks and just think, we're just around the corner so I bet you could borrow them. I'll totally give you a shout out on my blog.

Mindy said...

Way fun! Love both...but, I'm thinking that fondue set is calling me...and, saying "fill me up with some chocolate"!

Hmmm. My siblings have already told me not to get their kids any more toys. And last year I was getting rid of the things I'd been saving for my own children. So the blocks are out.

And there's no special someone...unless I count myself. And as I've been saving for over a year to one day have a chance to go eat at The Melting Pot, I figured having one of my own would be fantastic. Because then I and my Special Me could have fondue whenever we wanted!!

Monica McCoy said...

OOo, I loke them both, I think I would want to have the blocks most though! I love giveaways!

anna banana said...

I like them both too, is there any chance of getting both? :) I might have to pick the fondue pot. Yeah I think I am going to go with fondue. :)

I added to your famousness and wrote a blog entry about your giveaway at my LDS blog (http://beofgoodcheerlittlechildren.blogspot.com).

Congratulations on and enjoy your first giveaway!

My kids would love the blocks! And that means that I would love them too. It would be wonderful to win them. Thanks for sharing.

Fun! Be careful on this unless you want your blogging to become a business. The government is starting to keep track of these types of 'business' moves, even if you give it away, you may have to claim it on your taxes. I've lost my articles that talk about this, but it's becoming an issue as blogging gets to be more prevalent. I keep turning offers down because I don't want to mess with that right now.

If I were in the drawing, I'd so go for the fondue pot! And then Matt would laugh at me.

Renee said...

I could be selfish and want the fondue pot, but with one nephew already here and another on the way the blocks would be my pick. :)

Hello Serene! Cool idea to do something like this! I'm in for the blocks. Looks like fun.

By the way, the feet picture was cute and the paper cars, well, inspiring. Makes me want to have another bout at our encino-man-aftermath-finger-painting. :) LOL

Jess said...

Oh, I blogged you sista! Take a look! You are now officially FAMous!

Have fun!

Amy said...

fondue set! I want one so bad!

Pam said...

Oh man, I'm pretty sure that this Nana needs blocks for her sweet grands. I'm not sure that I know how to grovel for them - oh all right, I do too!

Let's see, I've never personally won anything, does that make you feel sorry for me? Um, I think your kids are really cute, and you're slightly nutty. Oh boy, that might not make me a winner. I meant that in a kind way!?!

I will definitely blog for you - tomorrow. In fact maybe I'll even add a story devoted just to you - in your younger years when you were known as Sarah that is. That blackmail ought to win me the blocks for sure!

I think you should post pictures of how you pick the winner. That would be sweet!

Good work coming up with something fun and out of the ordinary, even if you had help!

I would LOVE to win a fondue set! I like chocolate a little too much but I know my family would go crazy over it too. I also hear you can melt other yummy things too. I want FONDUE!

Okay, okay, I have decided; it would have to be the blocks. I still have a wheat grinder and bread maker in boxes that need to be used. At least the blocks would be used instantly! HA!
