Well, we just heard yesterday.
Alayna's surgery is scheduled for next week. Wednesday September 9th. We'll be fasting for her on Sunday.
Luke had to cancel a business trip but I'm glad he'll be able to take work off the whole time we'll be down at the hospital.
Well, in happier news, Alyana started crawling last Saturday! I took these video clips a couple days ago. Since then she has become a bit more efficient. She made it from the living room, down the hall to the bathroom.
The era of keeping doors closed has begun again.
Oh and uh, forgive the high pitched barking dog in the background. I can only hope Joseph's voice will... deepen with puberty. =)
8 super cool people speak:
wow, so soon! Well, at least you don't have to worry too much longer because the 9th will be here before you know it and then she can begin healing. Thinking about you...
Peace be with you.
I'm glad she's started crawling!
That is pretty fast scheduling. I'm glad she's small enough not to be able to be worried and scared, but of course, you do all of that for her like all mommies do. I hope that you can feel peace and calm through all of it. I know you don't know me, but I'm about an hour south of Salt Lake and if you need ANYTHING please let me know!
She's so cute!!
We'll be fasting with you. Love you.
I don't comment much, but I do keep up with your blog. You and Alayna are in our prayers Serene. You are all amazing.
She's so cute! Those first little crawling steps are so adorable. I just LOVE the crawling stage. My kids are always happier when they can get around on their own and get what they want. Crawling babies are so cute. I'll be thinking and praying for you on Wednesday too.
Someday...all these videos will help you to realize just how quickly they do grow up...You will look over all these accounts...and simply MARVEL at it all...YOU will SMILE all the way through it...even laugh out load...and some will bring tears to your eyes...Marvelous age of technology...to capture wonderful moments like this one...Also, good for "grannies" who are not around to observe the growth in person...(sniff...sniff)
