Well, more great discoveries have been found. Colossal... epic... masterpieces!
(cough) Okay, so maybe not THAT great, but close enough.
Care to see some of my teenage artwork?
Oh, I KNOW you do.
Just do one thing first.
Grab a box of tissues in case you end up laughing so hard you start crying.

Oh dear. Do I DARE admit that the background in this first drawing was inspired by a painting of Christ?
This one is from my colored pencil experimentation days.
When you have the dragon series framed and hanging in your house, send a photo. I'll autograph it for you.
(ever so humbly... of course)
8 super cool people speak:
I actually LOVE the dragon pictures! And I know exactly which picture of Christ the first is based off of. I'm always so impressed with your artistic talent.
LOL! I knew someone would recognize that background!
And thanks!
Apart from the background, I really like the dragon and butterfly one. Seems kind of out of place in Roman columns - maybe in an Alpine meadow... It's one that would look really sweet in a child's room.
I have always LOVED these pictures...Of the dragon series my two favorites were the "dragon and the butterfly"...and the "hatching from the egg"....You could have been the artist for the "Aragon" series....!!!!!
I LOVE your art work Serene:) It's amazing what you can do!
Love you
there's no way i could laugh at those drawings, especially given my poor drawing skills. sigh - I really didn't inherit my dad's talent. You give yourself too little credit!! I can see where your creative stories for your children come from. You were apparently dreaming up fantasy stories all your life!
Which one were we supposed to laugh at? :) I like the dragon and butterfly one too - very creative. Thanks for sharing.
Ah shucks, Thanks!
