Random
There is something to be said for the honesty of family and friends. It is amazing how many things they can point out to you about yourself that you never noticed before. According to my sister, I look like I came from Utah because of the way I do my hair (whatever that means). According to my brother, I look differant but he doesn't know why, something about my face, and my other sister tells me I am a lot quieter than I use to be. While I was giving a friend (that I grew up with) a hair cut the other day, he asked if I worked out because I am thinner now than I ever was in high school and wanted to know how that worked after having three kids. My older brother thinks it's funny that I wear high heals all the time now when before the fanciest shoe I owned was a flip-flop. But I think the best thing that has been brought to my attention was that according to my dad, I always use the word "random". I call all the time with a "random" question, or some "random" person did something, or something totally "random" happened the other day, or I just did something completely random. Since I don't really notice how much I use it I can't escape teasing every time I use the word, which, apprently is a lot. Sometimes I feel like the main guy on 'Scrubs' (which is a really random show by-the-way) who is always having a conversation with himself because of something someone had said to him. I keep getting all these things about myself pointed out to me that I can't help but wonder why ones family feels the need to alwys tell you about yourself. Anyway, just some random thoughts I was having.

That's funny.. I bet you've changed a lot since your family last saw you! I have a bad habit of watching for quirks or repetitive habits of people. I tell Kent everything I notice about him. It's enlightening, right? haha, I know.. it's probably just weird.
LOL, well, I guess I never realized just how, let's see, what's the right word... flawed? no... strange...mmm, I know, quirky I am!
Well, I don't know about what your family and friends have said. But I still think you are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met in my life--in looks and personality.
Oh, Heidi, you made me blush!
Ha ha. I read this entry on "random" on my friend's blog (http://librarianpants.blogspot.com/) and thought of your entry. You are probably using it correctly, though. If not...at least you're getting out of Utah! :-)
