I'm sitting in the car at this very moment, driving down to Norfolk, Virginia from D.C. and getting mighty car sick from typing this on my brother-in-law's cell phone.
I'm not sure if I should blame it on the typing or Hubby's driving.
Of course he's just trying to fit in and drive like everyone else. Which means we've only had about fifty-two near death experiences.
Anyhow, we are having such a great time! It's been a long time since I've laughed so much and so hard.
Even when we got lost for FOUR HOURS in D.C.!
I mean, wow. I've got stories. Some of which must never be told. What happens in D.C., stays in D.C. Mwah ha ha!
I can't wait to tell you all... er, at least some of what we've been doing and show off our pictures.
And as nice as this break is, I do miss my babies.
Course, I doubt they've even noticed we're gone they're having so much fun with Grandma.
Well, I better go before I puke.
Have a fabulous weekend!

I was married in DC so I am a tad bit jealous. Even of the fact that you got lost...been there, done that... ;) Have fun!!
It's always such fun to get away with just the two of you. Even when you are missing the kids!
=)
Oh how I LOVE DC! :) You're in my neck of the woods girl! I'm just 3.5 hours away!
DC is THE WORST PLACE TO DRIVE IN. EVER. So sorry!
Virginia has terrible drivers! We passed 5 accidents (one a multi-car pile up on the bridge) on our way to Norfolk--and this has been typical of every trip I take in VA. I am SO glad I no longer live among these drivers!! It was so good to see you--and all your family!
Am I the only one who noticed the puke comment? Is that like and I ate too much puke or something else???!?!?
LOL! I promise it was just car sickness. I get that if I do anything but stare outside.
