Note to self:
Even though the boys scaled the cabinets to the very top shelf, snuck into the marshmallows and ate half the bag before getting caught.
And after you announced to them that they would never eat another treat as long as they live, and even after having your 4-year old vehemently argued that,
"So sorry makes sense!"
and then promptly asked for a popsicle.
And even though they knocked over a nice full bowl of cereal and managed to cover all three bar stools, the counter and stair walls and obviously the floor, all before 8:30am,
you still should NOT say, "clean up your mess now!", then walk away when yogurt gets flung across the floor.
Some terminology should not be used lightly.
Just sayin'.

Well, waste not, want not, or something like that!
Hope the day gets a little better and soon!
I am kinda grossed out that you took pictures!
LOL, sorry. I was shocked into taking them.
It's a weakness of mine.
Nah. I think you SHOULD walk away. Heehehee
Oh my goodness. I hope your kitchen floor is cleaner than mine!
What obedient and resourceful boys you have raised!
On the bright side, my oldest just came up to me in tears because he bonked his head. I kissed him, then told him the story of the little boys who spilled some yogurt and cleaned it up in such a silly way! I showed him your pictures and he started giggling. So you helped me calm down my boy! Thanks!
I think theirs is a very enterprising approach to the problem...
;)
I am slightly grossed out.
This is why I use non-toxic cleaner on my floor and table. I'm not kidding even a little bit.
Wow, I thought that's what puppies were for, you know, to eat the stuff off the floor.
Hmmm, maybe I shoulda had more kids, even though it might be the kids that caused the stuff to get on the floor.
I'm glad you are able to take pictures cuz I wouldn't have anything to make me laugh today as much as this made me laugh.
lol!!!
love it
are our kids related??? I used to take pictures of all the horrible things (pink yogurt footprints, blue icing handprints, kid eating the ENTIRE cake...) until the day my son did something horribly naughty and when I walked in he asked if I wanted to take a picture... ugh.
Who needs a mop when you have soaking wet socks and tongues to clean up the messes!
Slightly gross, but hilarious too!
They always seem to outsmart us, don't they? Hope your day gets better - and cleaner. :)
Hilarious...period!
This post makes me glad that most of my kids are too old to do this sort of thing anymore! ;)
Oddly enough, your posts often make me hungry!
I see your kids believe in the "Leave no crumb or mess behind" act.
Besides it's the next best thing to having dogs!
LOL That is hilarious! And scary! I don't know why, but my kids never climbed.
Hahahah! EWWWWWWWWW!
Oh man! Serene is definitely not your life!!
That is so awesome!
See, if that had been me, I wouldn't have thought to take a picture. You're a better mom.
I'm glad you took pictures. Those are the best kind.
But, ewwwww! :)
Are your boys for hire? I sure could use some one to clean my floors at my house too!
Kids are so crazy funny!
I'm actually a little sick thinking about licking my own floors. Maybe I need to get off the computer and do some cleaning.
Nah.
Kids do not come with instruction manual, but I am pretty convinced they come with a book that they can only see, on how to drive mommy crazy before 10 am. And every so often... Like 5 times a week, they pull it out and use it.
Love the pictures.
While Darryl was visiting...I was scooping up some noodles onto my plate...and some fell on the floor...I picked them up and put them back onto my plate...Darryl couldn't believe it!!! It was such a "natural" thing to me...since...as far as I can remember...our family has ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY!!! I forget...it probably isn't what most people do...(smile) Our motto: WASTE NOT!!! Glad to see the "tradition" is continuing to move FORWARD...(smile) LOVE IT!!!
ROFL!! uh. Usually that stands for Rolling on the floor laughing. Change that to rolling on the floor licking.
Treats can never stay at my house very long. Those sneaky kids. At least they got some immune system building while they cleaned up! (My 3rd used to always want to drink puddle off the floor, lick like a dog style. Luckily he outgrew it).
That is absolutely something my kids would do! Good to know it isn't just us...
So I take it eating off the floor is not normal in your parts? Oh...we never do that either.../ahem. ;)
Found ya via MMB or another person on MMB...but who really knows?

Sometimes I wonder what our children think as we snap pics of them doing naughty things...
