Glancing over at my 5-year old daughter I asked, "You wish were you like me? Why?"
*sigh*......................... "Are we taking the bus or we driving to the school party?"
At first I thought I would never know but I decided to press the matter.
"Why do you wish you were like me?" I asked again.
*sigh*... "Because sometimes I'm mean."
Ummm... oh. Considering how she tells me I'm mean when she doesn't get her way I'm not quite sure how to take that.

Okay, so I almost didn't blog this one, but its a true story and in honor of knowing that they won't be kids forever, I decided to record it. So, here it goes.
I was trying to put Jacob down for a nap. I was in his bedroom calling for him to come to his bed. Jacob comes running over to me with a big smile on his face and says, "I can't mommy! I go poopy! See?"
He reaches me, turns around and sticks his bum out. As is my duty as a mother, I faithfully pull back his diaper to check. Not seeing anything right away a lean in for closer inspection. Without any warning he toots right in my face, starts laughing hysterically and scampers off.
Should I be concerned that he's only two years old?

haha, the farting story (oh, I mean tooting story) is hilarious. I imagine you were left with a mix of emotions - humor and anger?
I am still running, but I can tell the extra weight on my belly is making it get harder and harder. For one thing it makes me have to go to the bathroom! And it's also starting to get painful I guess because of the strain on my belly muscles. But I ain't quittin yet!
Actually, I was just so surprised at first. And Jacob was laughing so hard he got the hiccups. So I couldn't help but laugh too.
Well, I think its awesome that you're stilling running. I usually get so sick I can't get off the couch the first four or five month. By then, I don't dare try anything other than light exercise.
Well, you look so amazing!
And therein lies my secret: just don't get sick while pregnant! easy! (I know - that's so mean to say)
That's it! You're going on black list. =)
wow, that's hilarious!! And Brittney___ CONGRATS GIRL!!
It must be a "male" thing...Even...little Nathan at 1 1/2 years of age...starts smiling or laughing every time he "fluffs"...He always looks to see who is looking at him...when he does...One can't help but crack up...when he turns and starts laughing...(smile)
Seriously one of the funniest stories I've heard today. Maybe someday I'll get to understand that male psyche. If not, well...I'm cool with girls.
