The best part about making a birthday cake, is licking the beaters.
And... your hand of course. Oh, and the spatula.
Yup, the best part of all is licking up the cake batter.
Every last drop.
The best part about it being your own birthday cake, is that no one can say anything when you spit all over it.
(please, please ignore my scary cackle of a laugh)
And the best part of eating cake and ice cream, is getting a brain freeze from eating too much at once.
The end.
16 super cool people speak:
You are right... it is the best part!!!! My girls always come running when I am baking something and they fight over the beaters :)
my kids love it too :)
That makes me want some cake batter!
I hate batter. She makes it look nummy.
Happy Birthday!
2 things that made me laugh:
1. For some reason, I read "beating the lickers" instead of "licking the beaters."
2. I missed the first part of the video where Alayna spit, so I started it again, but I didn't go back far enough. I started it over like 4 times, and just got a running track of your cackle. :o)
Happy Birthday, Alayna!
I always loved licking the beaters the best. Still do!
=)
PS. And I have a scary cackle as well...
Happy birthday, sweet girl! Hope your next year is...uneventful. Yeah, that's it. (Except then your mom's blog wouldn't have nearly as many funny pictures!
And we may or may not have been known to make cake batter or brownie batter with the sole purpose of eating the batter straight from the bowl...
ahh, that IS the best part!
Yes, that IS the best part...minus the spitting! :)
:) Hope you all enjoyed the birthday and cake... and that you can find some sparkly shoes closer to her size... gotta protect those ones for your own use!!!
Happy Birthday! My hubby gags everytime we lick the beaters...but to me it is a rite of passage with everything you bake!
Oh my goodness - so messy and so cute! I love licking the beaters!
Cute!
Oh yeah, you described it all perfectly. Happy Birthday to your little crazy one!!
First off, I have seen those shoes on her more, than on you.
Just sayin'.
Two, look at all that brown puffy hair on her birth day. WOW.
And three...we are doing that with Jo Jo on Thursday, and I still don't have a gift for her either....but she's gonna know and understand so much more than a 2 year old. So I better be feeling better so I can take care of it. Like in 12 hours.
Oh...how I love you putting up birthday pictures...I so wish to be there...(sniff) SO CUTE!
