How in the name of all that is peaceful do they manage to wake up like that? I need to discover their secret.
This past Tuesday afternoon, we had loaded up the kids and half the house, since that's just how it is when it comes to traveling with children, and made the seven-hour trek to my parent's new place up in Montana. They've lived up there for about a year now and were finally able to get a house a few months ago.
So they decided it was time to have a week-long family reunion. We were only able to make it up for part of the time.
But my whole dadgum family was there, with the exception of my oldest brother and his little crew. So seven out of the eight kids, all our little families, and some family friends.
And it was a blast! Even though I sunk into the depths of depression when I stepped on the scale this morning. I'll spare you the gory pizza, steak, and chocolate covered details.
But I had come prepared this morning to boast of our exploits, show off dazzling pictures of
But alas, as I sat down at the computer, I discovered that half the photos I needed were at work with my husband, tucked away on a jump-drive in his work planner.
Blast.
Well today, you'll just have to content yourself with watching this little video I made of my brother.
My parent's neighbor let us come up to his place and ride one of his horses. While we were waiting for everyone to have a turn, I got bored. And when I get bored you just never know what will happen.
So from boredom, this video of was born.
I'm not ashamed of it.
Even if I do sound like a idiot when calling the practice arena a "horse... barn... thing".
Hey, I can't be perfect ALL the time!
And I'll be expecting a flood of emails from all you single gals out there.
Just sayin'.
23 super cool people speak:
shoot, I've got no-one to set him up with :)
I was reading your post and I do not remember the pizza. LOL :) We had so much fun and now we have vouchers, courtesy of Delta to return to the fun. I need you address though, I was going through some of my artsy fartsy stuff and found some fabric and buttons. Just email it to me and I will send them out after next weekend.
How fun to have a voice to put with your posts. :) Your brother was a good sport to let you take the video and post it!
We could set him up with my adorable coworker!
Shoot. I've got no one.
But I can see the resemblance. lol. You both have crazy smiles! :)
he'll get someone with those muscles he is bound to....:)
wait. hes rich?? i wonder if my husband would be okay inviting a new man into the marriage... hmm.
i could REALLY use a sugar daddy. ;)
Hilarious!
Looks like too much fun.
Adorable you!
Oh oh! My husband has lots of single cousins! Let's see one is 32 or 33 I think, she lives in UT. Another is 37 and in Boise. He has two other cousins that are sisters let's see I think 31 or 32 and then the other is 28 or 29, those two live in UT as well! They are all sweet girls too! Those are the only ones I would recommend for him ;).
Can't help you on the matchmaking scene. I've got a son just his age that's still single, too, so I have to send all my leads HIS Way...
heehee
;)
Well let's see here....hmm
I have a 25 year old. She lives in Provo. I do believe that you met her in the dark of the van. Is that too far away?
My fam lives in Montana too and we'll be making the 10 hour trek there this weekend. Yikes! Maybe when my sis gets back from her mission we'll have to set your bro up with her! *wink*
Cute! Welll.... I do have the most awesome-est 33-year-old sister!! :) She does have three kids, though, if that makes a difference. But she would be a fabulous catch :)
I am a 34 year old married man. But if I were, younger, single and a woman...
Love it! So funny and unique. I can't help with the women department though as my son is the same age and still unmarried. Thanks for the laugh today!
I'm so very happily married but my dear friend is 26 years old and single and beautiful and amazing but she lives here in AZ. So if your bro is ever down here, drop me a line!
Oh and calories don't count when it's a family gathering. Didn't you know?
Cute(the post, and your brother).
You know, i do the same thing all the time, only I go through several titles before I settle on the correct one. A tomato plant? it gets: "cherry tree, rose bush, grape, ugh! Oh you know what I'm talking about!!" I don't know if it's brain cell loss from pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood; or if I'm already suffering dementia.
I'm lovin that indoor arena! Yes, it's a riding arena not a barn thingy!
Wish I could help you in the match making department but I'm busy doing the same for my handsome single sons!
So, do you provide matchmaking services for only family members, or do you hire out?
Sounds like such a GREAT time. I totally love MOntana it is one of the most beautiful places on earth as is Glacier Nat'l Park. I would love to retire there someday!!
Love the video - super cute!
Nobody good enough comes to mind. Hopefully a match will be made. And I'll take credit for it.
Well, I don't have much to say about your brother, but the pizza and steak sound good!
You and your brother are just too cute! Beautiful family! :)
Oh, and I heart Montana! Such a beautiful and majestic state. Your parents are lucky!
