You are turning into quite the homemaker. I remember you always saying you didn't like to even make dinner, and here you are canning! Your yard really looks great.kirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03914739679917735919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411626042871756090.post-91925439302711922462009-10-14T15:00:35.882-07:002009-10-14T15:00:35.882-07:00A great post- so many fun things! Whoever said that wasn't hard work never tried it.

I love the dress Alayna is wearing. She looks great!

You say you don't like pumpkin pie, but how about chocolate chip pumpkin muffins? (Heavy on the chocolate chips, of course.) Love that!

And the grass looks great! I don't like pumpkin pie. Yuck! I have an open enough mind to be willing to taste made-from-scratch pumpkin pie, but my doubts that it would actually be any good are very high. =)

Ahh, thanks Shara!!!Serene is my name, not my life!https://www.blogger.com/profile/02181359150279923307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411626042871756090.post-79253679168700111852009-10-13T20:18:47.712-07:002009-10-13T20:18:47.712-07:00In order of pictures:

I can't wait to have a garden and can my own veggies.

Alayna is looking so happy - what a darling!

I love the pics of the kids carving the pumpkins - and Savannah is so pretty - you can really see how great her smile is in that pic of her (you better start watching out for those boys).

I never realized how big your yard is until these pictures - wow! That was a HUGE project. Glad you were able to get some nice sod for it :)Svedi Piehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05545834475822341501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411626042871756090.post-3512736692545991502009-10-13T19:29:47.354-07:002009-10-13T19:29:47.354-07:00"Green side up!" :-)
I'm so impress..."Green side up!" :-)

I'm so impressed with all of your homemaking-ness; I can't even compare! You even grew your own pumpkins. I'm super-highly in awe. If you're looking for another time-consuming, great accomplishment activity, I heard making a pumpkin pie completely from scratch takes all day. I'm very tempted to try it now--just to say I did! (And apparently it tastes way better than anything from a can could.)

I remember liking baked pumpkin seeds, too! I was 5 the last time I had them, so my opinion on it might be a bit off. But always worth a try.ldsjaneitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09925051891110460699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411626042871756090.post-81224350421995958632009-10-13T19:21:31.487-07:002009-10-13T19:21:31.487-07:00The yard looks good, but you know in the back of y...The yard looks good, but you know in the back of your mind that grass (no matter how beautiful) will never keep them out of the dirt. :) I wish we lived closer.
