I LOVE this picture!!!!!!!!! I remember some years ago...I was participating in a Mother/Daughter sleep over at another person's house...I was the first one up...so while others were sleeping...I thought I would read....I went from ROOM TO ROOM (that was available to us without going into private rooms) and I couldn't FIND ONE BOOK! It was a houseful of "15" people...who could well afford BOOKS! NOT ONE! that was VISIBLE! This looks like a BIT OF HEAVEN TO ME! I absolutely LOVE IT!
Until I saw a cute baby on the floor and a couch in a different color than ours, I thought for a minute that this was our house! Glad my kids aren't the only ones!
It's VERY hard for our kids to read one book at a time. Apparently book reading is more profitable when the WHOLE shelf is right beside them on the couch. :)
Uhhh. You'd think maple syrup would NEVER get on the books. They are such a safe distance from the kitchen and the pantry. You'd better not where those heals in the house. You won't catch her as she streaks through the livingroom, over the books, with the syrup drizzling the whole way.
I'm a 36year old chocolate eating, gospel loving, high heel wearing, imperfect mom of seven cute little monsters, and wife to one great man; all of whom I love with my whole soul.
These are our many adventures together as a family.

I feel like I am looking at a picture of our basement book room. We always have books everywhere, yet my kids still just want the Llama Llama books:)
Thayer are speed reading, silly.
I know. Why does that happen??
=)
Hey that looks like our toy room! I wish I could figure out a system that is easier to keep the books orderly, but I fear that is impossible.

Why, yes. Yes it is. :-)

One of my favorite pictures! A kid can NOT have too many books!
It gets even better when they ask you to read a book then pick up another one as you start, huh? : )
HAhaha. I love it! I almost thought you had snuck into my house and taken a picture....only your couch is much nicer than mine is.
