Watch what you say!

I know she talks really well and all that, but I was still surprised when she looked down at her toy in frustration and exclaimed, "Dang it!"

Perhaps we need to be more careful about how often we use that expression around her.

But I'm not about to make any promises.

Especially since this was before the cheerios, popcorn, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were emptied all over the living room floor.

Seriously...how do you keep your cool!? I think I'm starting to get it...the secret is hidden somewhere in a sleep-deprived, nearly-delirious laugh, isn't it? yes, I've been there too...

Bwahahaha. Ain't that the truth. They usually only repeat those things we wish would NOT be repeated. Sigh.

Oh yeah, I have so been there. I do promise that they grow up (mostly) and she will someday be able to clean up her own messes. However, than she will be doing things like piercing her ears, wearing makeup, and dying her hair.

I distinctly remember walking into work once with Veggie Teen in tow... (he was only 18 months old in those days) and he very loudly said "Crap" when his hat fell on the floor. I worked at a preschool and we were trying to be quiet for the kids who were having story time. EVERYONE stared. Luckily his "crap" sounded like "cap" so I made up a story about his hat and we booked it out of there.

and yet... apparently I still need to learn some language lessons :)

Just gotta say, I'm usually grateful when "Dang it!" is the worst thing to come out of one of my little guys' mouths. LOL

Yay for girls! And I'm glad you're feeling a little better.

Most people talk about the havoc their kid wreaks and I'm like, "Nope. My kids worse."

But your kid is definitely worse. Sorry to laugh so often at your expense, but she's pretty funny.
