Huh? Interesting....

I truly wonder sometimes what goes on their little toddler minds. Do they ever have inner dialogue? A conversation with themselves? Or do they simply decide on something and just, do it?

This one made me curious. I can imagine the thought process going on these lines.

Mine! I want this apple, this last perfect, red apple. Delicious! But I don't want anyone else to get it or they will eat it! Maybe if I hide it. Where to hide... where to hide... Ah ha! Perfect!

Now if I can just *oof* push hard *grunt* and get it in there *eeeee umph! push push squeetch squeetch...* Yes, perfect. Now one will ever find it and it will be mine forever! Mwah ha ha ha!

It could happen.

This one, in total truth, surprised me into laughter.

Gosh, I'm so hungry! *sigh* There's nothing to eat. Oh look! Cheese! I want cheese! But mommy doesn't let us use knives, and she doesn't always let us just eat cheese. Maybe if I grab a quick bite, no one will notice... *shwamp chew chew* Oh shoot! Here she comes! *throwing cheese block back in bag, slam door shut and run and hide like there's not tomorrow*

Is she gone? Good. Cause I'm still hungry...

That cheese is awesome. I love how kids totally don't get how to be truly sneaky yet, and think that we won't notice giant hunks of cheese missing out of a once square block:)
Abbie just did something similar to this to Asher and his halloween candy.
Check it out if you want.

I find it so amusing to see how sneaky Sissy is becoming..... makes me laugh cause it reminds me of her Dad.

Funny kids!

Haha! Blake does this with cheese too!

What's wrong with the cheese? I STILL do this. I think it's perfectly normal. At least your little angel doesn't try to hide the cheese. Can you imagine the smell?

LOL@ Impulsive Addict... because my hubby does this from time to time!

our kids are the same way.. cheese, hidden food.. sometimes i swear they're part mice.. storing up for winter! ;)

I have a pic of my eight year old (then about 14 months) from when I caught her sitting in front of the open refrigerator with about 1.5 pounds of cheese, just nibbling on the edge - cute little mousy... but a little gross all the same :)

So, my cheese shouldn't look like that since I'm supposed to be past toddler thinking...? Uh oh.

Too funny.

=D

PS. By the way, I have exhibited the apple behavior (or something strangely like it) while shopping...hiding an item I'm particularly interested in so no one else will get it while I walk around the mall deciding whether I really want it or not. What can I say? ;)

Apples and cheese, can't think of a better snack than that...well with the exception of chocolate.

I gather you have yours well hidden?

Pregnancy doesn't rob you of humor. Which is good!

Once I got our cheese out and there were bit marks THROUGH the plastic. Little 2 year old really really wanted cheese and couldn't work the Ziploc. :)

Cheeseboy fully supports this post about cheese. Appleboy will soon be here for the apple portion.

Your kids are pretty silly. Honestly, I'd love to have my kids hiding apples. They need more apples in their diet.

Hahahahaha! That is awesome! I "love" finding food in weird/disturbing places.....but I can honestly admit that my children have never eaten off of the cheese block like that! Note to self: Don't let the kids accidentally see this picture and get ideas....
