Family Photoshoot

Remember when about two months, fifty pounds, twelve inches, a pregnancy test, five milkshakes, and a bag of cadbury christmas balls ago I mentioned that we had finally had some family pictures taken?

Okay, so I'm exaggerating the weight... a little.

I know, I know, I'm awful slow in posting them. But Cassie from CG Photography did a great job and anyone brave enough to try and photograph a family with four little ones running amuck ought to get some serious brownie points.

And their place secured in heaven.

There are a ton of super cute and fun ones, but these were some of my favorites.

But I gotta be honest with ya'll. My absolute, very most favoritist (because favoritist is my most favoritist word) picture out of the whole bunch is this one.

I mean, come on, it's awesome right? I love the realness of it all.

I'm seriously leaning towards getting this one enlarged for our living room.

What do you think?

They are all awesome, and I really do love the last one, that is so how our family pictures went when we did them with all of Sean's family. And there were only two babies. She did an amazing job, well your kids are super cute, so it must not have been that hard to get cute pictures of them.

You REALLY should! I would!

Oh, how cute they all are! The expression on your oldest in that last one though is truly priceless. I'd pick that one too, I think.

Seriously, does an organized, normal looking photo belong on the living room wall? i don't think so.
I've seen the pictures you've posted of those monkeys.
I say keep it real!
Of course, all of them are darling!
I just think people would start laughing when they came in your house and saw that one.
We've all been there.

That's what we did for our Christmas card two years ago. We couldn't get a single "great" photo so we went in an opposite direction, found the worst, and put it on the card. It was awesome! Very memorable! Plus, you get to see who really pays attnetion to their christmas cards and who doesn't. Haha!

WOW!! Serene those are incredible!! You have such an adorable and beautiful family!! I too love the first photo, what's not real about that? Too, too cute!!

You have such a beautiful family. I love all of these. But I totally agree with you. Post the silly one. The world needs more laughter. We need more realness. It's genuine, but still beautiful.

Yep, the one you picked is the winner. But they're all great!

=)

PS. The very first one of you as a family is my second favorite...

I am lovin' those pics! And I totally agree that the "real" family pics are the best ones!

Ohmygosh...that last pic is PRICELESS! Yes, frame it up BIG girl! That is the winner winner chicken dinner! (if you haven't seen the movie, then this absolutely makes no sense to you)

I have family pics on Friday. I wish I had 4 kids. I only have one. The changes of getting such an incredible family portrait are slim to none...especially since she LOVES the camera. Darn it.

great photos! you have a beautiful family :)

Okay, I personally. Like the last one for multiple reasons. 1.) The look you and Luke are exchanging-he looks smitten with you and you're like, "Seriously? Can't they behave just once?" 2.) Savannah is almost gloating that she's behaving and looking at the camera (the folded arms are a major plus!)

I love it all! But the last one really is priceless!

you guys are too cute! Every time I do a photo shoot--it's the candid ones that make me the happiest. It's actually what I am known for, anyway. Don't come to me for posed perfection, I always say.

Your family is rock'n!

Also, can I just TELL someone that my son came in with homemade nutella on some apples and I had to TURN HIM DOWN because I am off sugar this week?

Holy cow. Just had to vent here for a minute...while I recuperate.

Boy, I'm so far on reading blogs. I don't even know why I comment when nobody will read this, but if you do, thanks for sharing the photos.
