Heaven Help Me

She has figured out how to climb out of her crib.

She just hasn't quite figured out what to do from here.

As long as she just stays there you're all good.

this could work to your advantage if she stays there... time out on top of the dresser (or the fridge when she gets a little more gutsy) can be a wonderful thing.

shhh... not that I'd know, but be sure not to store any goodies in the cabinets near the fridge.

Really funny photo!

My daughter learned to get out of her crib when she was only 10 months old. It was awful, and in those days they didn't have those crib toppers to keep them in, so I didn't sleep too well worrying about her.

The thing is, she didn't climb out...She would just flop herself up and over and out, like a fish. Not the safest mode of exit.

I walked into my kitchen and found her on top of my refrigerator when she was the same age, 10 months. THAT was scary. You should have seen me sneaking slowly up on her, speaking in soothing tones so as not to startle her and make her fall or jump.

Sheesh.

And U just take a pic of her to post on your blog...LOL.
BAAAAD Mommy....

Put some breakfast cereal up there and she can feed herself...

(And I was totally kidding bout the bad mommy part. I would have done the same thing.) :))

Sad, sad day. My condolences. She'll figure out how to get down eventually.

Oh yeah, when my kids got to this point, the crib got put away and the mattress was laid quietly on the floor. I never could stop the nightmares from the "what if's". They grow up way too fast!

Move the dresser it might give you a few more days.
If you're lucky like me your cute kiddy will fall and cry and then never try it again!!
(P.S. I know that sounds mean but it worked out - ha ha!).
