And behold, my blog doth stinketh

And it came to pass that in her 27th year, Serene was with child. And behold, she was so sick that her children ran a muck, causing all forms of disasters and contentions, yea even destruction in all manner of ways.

And in that same year, her brain did cease to function, and all manner of creativity was lost.

So great was the loss thereof, that behold, her blog doth stinketh.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, my brother stopped by yesterday. While we were standing in the kitchen he suddenly exclaims, "Whoa! You weren't kidding about getting a belly already!"
See? See? It's not just my imagination! That is proof right there people! Proof! At 7-8 weeks pregnant, I really am showing.
*sniffle*
This also proves what a sweet, loving, and sensitive family I have. :D
Ummm, let me guess which brother. The one who has no filter...Abraham. LOL If it is him I will smack him in November when I see him in Florida for you. LOL You are too beautiful for words so ignore the boys. :)
B.T.W. I found more fabric but I am not sure if you are currently able to or want to work on a project LOL. I will send it anyway for when you feel better. :)
Um, I'm pretty sure that brothers' opinions on your belly size don't count.....ever! It's nice to see another house that looks like mine, and I'm not sick....and my kids really are old enough to clean up after themselves!
I am sorry you are so sick, but seeing this makes me feel better, so Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one with a house looking like that. The kids know I am at a disadvantage. and they are take advantage of the situation. Feel better soon.
My pregnancy showed a little earlier each time. Quite a drag, I remember!
As for your post today, you should link it up to Jen Denton's blog over at Denton Sanitorium. She has a blog hop going about "keeping it real," and today's post definitely does that!
Anyway, this was a fun post...Even though what you're describing is probably not much fun for YOU.
Hugs.
Soooo sorry that you are sick. I always hated that part about being pregnant. Everything will pass away and hopefully the brother will be nicer next time he sees you! Don't worry too much about your blog. If you keep posting pictures and an occasional thought, that will do until you feel a little more normal. Have a great day!! I hope you feel better!!
Hopped over here from Jen's blog and can totally relate. Except it's just my husband and teenage son that destroy our house...
Is that all your brother could come up with, sheez!
How about, Hey sister would you like me to help you around the house? Here let me clean that up for you, go lie down and I'll tend to the kids.
Yeah, some brotherly love he's got there!
Serene is my name, not my life! said...
Actually, my brother is really good about helping me out and he did clean up some.
Don't ya LOVE Sue? She's the best.
I think you're right. My brain died when I was 27 and pregnant with my 5th. My house never had a chance after that, either.
Glad to see ol' Abe helping you out! Otherwise, this ol' mother bear...will need to smack the back side of his head...the next time I see him! Hmmm...wait...that will be nearly his wedding day! (smile)Just think...one day...you will have your body back...house will be clean...and be wishing all your children were home...I know...living it....well...except...I never got my body back! (smile)
Um, Serene there's no easy way to break this to you. So I'm just gonna blurt it out. Twins!! That would explain why you're showing so early. Just sayin. : )
Glad tp find your blog. I loved your pictures - so real - so normal. But I must say since I am new to you I love love love your header. So true.
Well, he IS a boy. Brothers are just like that. I'm sure mine would still be saying I look like I swallowed a basketball, but I have suspicions my mother "convinced" them to stop. A couple still like to call me by my Chinese Name. Thus, I am sure that if it is not a boy thing, it is at least a brother thing.
Doesn't matter how you look or feel, you're still amazingly awesome and strong and wahoo. Keep it up!
You say that your blog stinketh. But what say I? I do not think that you stinketh. Because I am a wise woman, and know that your creativity is just sleeping, as you commune with God, and you are harrowed up in all your sins (puking) and you're going to come back to us better than before, as long as we don't bury you alive. Scriptures rock! So does a pregnant Serene. :)
Came over from Jen's challenge. Newest follower! :) Sheesh. Some boys just don't know how to be sensitive when it comes to hormonal, sick baby-carrying mamas. Glad your bro helped you out a bit. That hair is the cutest thing ever!!
The Book of Serene. Darn, I hate that it's not in the Standard Works.
I would be that the RLDS version has it....
Enjoying all these keeping it real posts. I'm feeling for you. With my youngest now seven, they are far off memories, b ut still very clear.
Oh if only my belly had an excuse these days.
You will be glad to have kept a record of this, for posterities sake.
I exposed my blog a little differently today.
