If you're a man, I would recommend not reading this.

While at Walmart this afternoon, I was cutting through the... eh hem, feminine products isle.

My three year old son, who was walking along side the cart yells up at me, "What are doze?" pointing to the... eh hem, feminine products on the shelf.

My six year old daughter took charge of the conversation. "Those are for when you bleed on your bum bum!"

"Ya!", my four year old son yells back over his shoulder, "They're bum bum band aids!"

And then I smiled sweetly at the man who walked by at that exact moment.

32 super cool people speak:

OH. MY. HE**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just don't know what to say, except that the guy that walked by is probably on the phone to his wife/girlfriend and roaring their guts out right now.

It's time to have that special talk.......about using our church voices in the feminine isle at Walmart.

I have never understood how a child can always use their outside voices at the most embarassing moments! they are so darn good at it too!!!

time to find a different aisle for your short cuts sister!

it's been my experience that the only time a child uses a quiet voice is when they are giving a talk in primary. or when you REALLY need to hear what they're saying.

That is so Funny!! We call them mom band-aids at our house. Not sure if it's the best idea, knowing how little kids are with any kind of band-aids (sure you know what I mean).

That's actually an easier description than anything I could come up with. And don't worry, that guy will get over it...eventually.

My kids call them "mommy's bandaids". But really, I'm sure that man was embarrassed enough to be in the feminine products aisle. Ha ha.

I am a man, but I did not heed the warning, but I am glad I didn't. It turned out hilarious.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually had this conversation about "the fun things we get during puberty" the other day. She is super stoked for a bra but when I informed her of "the other stuff" she looked horrified and near started crying!!! SO FUNNY!!!

Your kids are hysterical! Of course, it's only funny because it didn't happen to me. But it very well could have!

So, here's one you'll like. My friend's boy asked his parents when they could light the firecrackers. They told him they didn't have any firecrackers. He said, "Yes we do, they're in Mom's bathroom cupboard. I found them!" Then he pulled a t-a-you-know-what-out of his pocket and said, "And they have really long fuses."
