Blogger's Conference - Part 3

I suppose there are some readers out there who are wondering. Who have lots of questions as to why one blogger, such as myself, would dedicate three whole posts to talking about a blogging conference.

Unless you had experienced the awesomeness for yourself, I suppose the questions are valid ones. And so I have thought long and hard as to how I might explain it to you.

So, here you go.

If that doesn't clear things up or if it makes no sense to you, well, I'll explain it to you when you're older.

In the meantime I must shout from the blogosphere just how awesome the famous Becca from Blue Cricket Designs is. She was incredibly nice and so fun.

I'm thinking the mustache is a good look for me. Who says facial hair on woman can't be dashing?

And what would this post be without a picture of Kristina from the oh so famous Pulsipher Predilections rockin' a bedazzled pink snuggie!!

Can I just say that for someone so famous, she sure is awful sweet?

As the conference started winding down to the end, bloggers were leaping across the room, chairs, and other bloggers just to get a picture with me.

Like Alexes from One Cluttered Brain, she beat everyone to the punch. Because she's fast like that.

And my fabulous roomies T and Tauna, who snore every so lightly in their sleep. But I hear having five kids does that to you. So whenever I have another kid, I'll start lightly snoring too. Serves my husband right.

I had a blast with them. Love these babes.

And then just like that, the conference was over. We sadly said goodbye to everyone, no one cried but vowed we'd see each other again next conference.

Because we're women. And that's what women do.

Now, earlier last week, and I received an email from Jody asking if I'd be willing to meet up with her by the freeway on our way back because she had something for me.

I was stunned. Something for me? Really? I could only hope it wasn't a straight jacket.

So Tauna and I pulled off the free way at the allotted gas station and awaited the arrival of Jody and her surprise.

She first handed Tauna and I a box of chocolates and I thought, what a great surprise! Only another blogger would be so thoughtful.

Then she handed me a roll of wrapping paper. Bright yellow flower wrapping paper.

I stared at it for a second, unsure of what it meant. But Tauna got it right away! Then Jody decided I had stood there looking dumb long enough and she informed me it was so I didn't have to use all my Christmas wrapping paper!

Ha ha ha!! I burst out laughing!

If you are new to my blog, there is something you need to know. I am terrible at buying wrapping paper. I never think about. So all my gifts get wrapped in Christmas paper or plastic sacks. Like Mother's Day gifts and birthday presents.

Since Father's Day and my husband's birthday are coming up this month, he will be the lucky recipient of Jody's flowery generosity. Thanks girl!

And to end, I would like to extend a special thanks to Tauna, Jody, and Krista for making my whole weekend just that much better.

And when I finally made it back home sometime around midnight, everyone was fast asleep, even my husband.

But I was greeted by some love nonetheless.

Even if the next morning the kids acted like I had never even left them.

Crap, my secret is out. I am a nice person! I wanted people to think I was going to stab them in the eye with a Bumpit whenever someone meets me.

It was great to meet you!

I was worried about letting your secret out into the open but I thought I'd risk the wrath of the bumpit.

Well since it went on for 3 days you should have at least 3 posts about it all. I've enjoyed every one of them plus the pictures are great too.

Love the conference report!
Since I didn't get to go, it is nice to see how much fun it was. Maybe next year, it will be me jumping in all the pictures (only if my diet works!) Thanks for keeping us all updated.

You might be brave enough to stand up to Kristina and her bumpit, but if she comes at you with her PedEgg you better run!

I am so buying a plane ticket next year...

Ahahaha!! Lightly snoring? My Mother did some light snoring the entire time in our shared room in Nauvoo when we had a special sisters/mother trip. We tease her relentlessly...still. She will never again share a room with us. And we thank her. :)

I thought that "Truffle" wrapper looked familiar! I liked your Christmas paper. It was unique! Are you on FB? I can't remember your last name and I don't post mine on my blog. Send it to me (since I moderate comments) and I won't post it.
