3 reasons why you should have kids

3. They are always willing to help with the yard work.

No matter how dirty the job.

Until they are about five years old.

But that's beside the point here. *clearing throat*

2. They have a way of letting you know EXACTLY how they feel, without ever saying a word.

Or maybe it's just a girl thing?

1. They have AWESOME fashion sense and are always willing to bring you flowers.

Now that's real love for ya.

What more could you ask for?

P.S. I try and limit the amount of times I check my stats to just once a week. So today, when I did, I was astounded at the number of hits I got yesterday!

Because let's be honest, as totally awesomely fabulous as my blog is, it's not THAT great.

And yes, that makes perfect sense to me.

Turns out, my Walmart Cart Train post was featured on Mormon Times!

I know right, I was almost blinded by my own awesomeness!

Okay, not really.

Still, I haven't felt this famous since I ended up on the local news in my sweats!

Kids are awesome and so are you! I think your blog is pretty great. I always enjoy coming by and reading about your crazy/fun life.
You're so funny in most of your posts and say things I can never really put into words, I'm sure alot of other mommiez feel the same way too!
You rock!

Wow you ARE famous! Please remember the "little people" when you get all, you know, up there with the HobNobbers.

Glad to see that Savannah is reserved and sutle. Great trait to have.

I wonder what kind of signs Savannah will make for me during the week I will be babysitting....Maybe, she will make one that says..."Granny ROCKS!" or "Granny is SO OLD"...or "Granny GO HOME!" I wait with much anticipation! (smile)

Nice, I love the "I am Mad" sign...I need a few signs like that. Then I could just hold my sign up and move on with my day!

This was just what I needed to feel calm and relaxed about having a baby. Thanks for being so upbeat and positive about motherhood!

I love the cart train!

I wish my kids attitudes stayed the same as when they were 5 and wanted to help with the yard work.

Now, it's like asking them for a kidney or something!

And the cart train is celeb worthy!

Isn't that funny? I had a huge spike in my stats the otehr day, too, but I can't figure out why! Totally random and hasn't happened again. Maybe all the people who came to your blog from Mormon TImes then clicked the button and came to mine!

Sarah Larsen said...

Congratulations Serene! You're such a good mama. Don't tell your other kids but I particularly favor the blond boy. Jacob?

Sarah Larsen said...

Ooh I think it's Joseph. :)

It is a cruel trick that as soon as they can actual be of help they stop wanting to do it. And your boy has awesome fashion sense. Looks a lot like my own kids' outfits!
