Taking the day off.

I've decided to take the day off from the blog today.

If you saw my house, you would understand. Besides, there's only so many different items of food I can stand being stuck to the bottom of my feet when I walk through the kitchen.

I've even dozed off twice this morning so we are off to a great start!

I think my chocolate tank must be running low.

But since you made the trek all the way over here, I figured you deserve at least a smile for the day. So I pulled this from way back when only five people read my blog. And I was two of them.

There are only two things you need to know about his picture.

1. Joseph had JUST had a bath.

2. That is toothpaste.

I have been going to leave a comment on your blog for awhile now, but I have been nervous that you will think that I am a psycho, which most days I sure do feel like it, but in general I am kinda normal: ) I grew up in Freedom with the Heiners, and I am good friends with Michelle and Lane. Anyways, just wanted to let you know I LOVE YOUR posts! Way too funny! : ) when I am having a bad mommy day, I like to read your posts, and then I can see that there is at least one honest mom out there. THANK YOU!

Love the picture! You know Joseph might be on to a new kind of super hero, Toothpaste Man!! All he needs now is the cape and he can fly around the world making sure every kid has fresh breath and clean teeth!

Good luck today! Looking at that picture, my guess is any parent would be able to guess that of course, he'd just had a bath. Those things NEVER happen before bath-time.

Liz: Thanks! I love that you like it over here in Loonyville! And I don't think your psycho at all! LOL, you're too funny.
And I appreciate your comment! It's always fun to hear from people.
I hope you're getting some warm sunshine there in the valley!

Saimi: It's all about being minty fresh you know. Maybe with a cape he'd be more excited about brushing with toothpaste instead of playing in it!

Braden: Ain't that the truth!

My house sounds like yours, or it did till I went crazy this morning and cleaned. I even had a marshmallow stuck to my foot.

Lovin' the picture.

Ok serene I won't tell you how absolutely fabulous it is sitting on a patio getting my legs sunburned.
I think I can't ever come home.
I am glad you posted the pic of captain toothpaste. It brings back such memories......I am sorta glad those days are behind me......sometimes.

I have to come home tomorrow....is the snow gone?

EEk! Wow.
The toothepaste kinda looks like Desitin. I had a friend whose baby got into the desitin. All over him, his hair, his crib, the carpet.
It took like 17 gazillion washed later to remove the smell.
The things we go through as mothers.

Sometimes blog "day offs" turn out to be some of the best ones. That picture is awesomely incredible.

...Sigh...I am thinking that you are looking at my house instead of yours! One of my kids got into the Vicks Vapor rub once. I think it had to wear off. His hair looked really slicked down for church though...as long as you did not get to close! So glad they did not ever discover the joys of toothpaste on the body. We mostly deal with pens and perfume. (don't ask)
