I'm not one to pass along blame but...

So, my Best Mommy Ever challenge this week was a completely inconclusive experiment.

Four key elements were missing from my lab. I meant to fill out a police report about the break-in but decided I would track down the thief myself. These were the following items stolen from me this week:

~ Energy:
Now how in the world can you complete an experiment without it? It's parentally impossible, and that's been proven.

~Determination:
I just wanted to flop down on the couch and read all week long. Not that that would be a bad thing, but I don't think they kids would appreciate not getting fed. Nor would my husband for that matter. I guess I would probably get hungry at some point too.

~Desire:
Only a certain type of desire was missing. I still desired the diapers to change themselves and the laundry to fold up and put itself away, but I wasn't feeling an overwhelming desire to accomplish my goal this week.

~Chocolate:
What else is there to say? This speaks for itself.

... Now wait a doggone minute! I think I just figured it out! I had no chocolate all week... and when chocolate goes, so does all those other elements! HA! The chocolate was the thief!

That's it! I call foul! I call re-do!

And this time, chocolate will be present and accounted for.

Okay, so I did spend a lot of time playing with the kids, or just sitting and talking or reading with them. They really enjoyed it and were much happier after. But I failed with the one-on-one time. So I'm calling for a re-do.

And you can't stop me!

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for!

The Picture of The Day is brought to you by...

ELVIS-INA!

Thank you! Thank you very much!

And by the ever disobeying Joseph!
Who took the camera AGAIN after I told him not to touch it AGAIN and took about 58 pictures AGAIN of a bunch of blurry nothings AGAIN.

But upon going through and deleting all the photos he took AGAIN, I found one treasure AGAIN.

How can I be mad when he takes a picture like this?

So, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find a photo that describes your life or who you are, write about it and link back here so we can all come see!

The linky is open for the week. Enjoy!

And now, today is Joseph's birthday! He's turning four so I better go clean the house and make some cake! That is, when Luke brings the one and only working vehicle home so I can go to the store.

Have I mentioned lately how much a loathe having only one car that works?

Glad you found the thieve. Chocolate. You should never ever be chocolate deficient!

Ya, about the one car working thing....I'm living your dream too. It is not very much fun.

That might just be the best kid picture ever.

I've given up an ever having any energy again. At least for the next six weeks...

No really. Having only one running car stinks! It has seemed to save us a little bit of $$ though...only because I can't go and get stuff on a whim.
