Picture of the Day Challenge

I was walking past the stairs the other day when out of the corner of my eye something bright looked just a little out of place.

I stopped, turned, and stared at it for a moment.

Then I burst out laughing.

What the...?

At first I wasn't sure how it got there. Then Savannah showed me how she leaned over the rail and stuck it there.

Why?

And I quote, "because it looks pretty."

I'm not entirely sure what it is. Some kind of sticky, gooy toy thingy.

Yup, I have a college degree and passed my english classes.

Anyway, it was just so funny.

(sigh) I love my kids.

Okay, your turn! Find something that illustrates who you are or what your life is like and link back here. It can be ANYTHING! Hopefully something that makes you happy.

I wondered if you were gonna do this today! I finally finished the nursery and posted pics, so that's my link. Not exactly a typical day for me, but that makes it all the more worth celebrating. I could just have easily taken a pic of my youngest running around naked saying, "I'm the good guy Wolverine! He's naked in the Hulk movie!"

:o) I love little boys.

I hate those sticky, gooey toy things! (It probably relates to my hatred of stickers.) I especially don't like the ones that look like eyeballs and you throw 'em against the wall where they make that horrifying sticky smack sound and then oozily rolls down the wall. Blech!

But the hand looks pretty funny there. I'll have to scrounge for another picture when I'm at my home computer this weekend.

I know you said your little ones are looking for things to do on an indoor day. This wonderful mom on tipjunkie.blogspot.com, she put in an article
http://www.executivehomemaker.com/2009/07/special-days-booklet/
very cute ideas and you can print the book out to take out on days you are stuck for one. The link to print it out is at the bottom of the article.

I know you are an experimental cook like I am. I posted on my blog a crock pot recipe for homemade yogurt.

Okay, so too close to dinner time for me to respond with a link, but I will tell you that I had one of those little sticky thingys on my ceiling for over a year. It just became part of the room. I missed it when it finally fell down.
