Apparently Not

Just when I thought we were FINALLY making some progress on getting the boys to stop coloring all over Alayna's body.

It would appear they have found a way to cheat the system. After all, its not her skin.

I guess I should count my blessing that I have kept the permanent markers carefully hidden.

Well, except that one time. But the wall and the bench suffered only minor damage.

Unlike the time my baby brother found one that I had left out when I was a kid. My poor bedspread... and bed... and doors... and walls... and hallway wall... and bathroom door....

You know what? Let's not talk about that.

Hmm. I've always wondered why we never had markers in our home. Or paint. Of course, we didn't have colored pencils either. (Which is probably why I still have a fascination for colored pencils. AND I have rather a large dislike of crayons, that only got worse as I started hearing people say the word incorrectly.)

That picture is probably one of the best things I've seen all week. Thanks!

When we were gutting out of our home in Florida...after 21 years...We found so many "reminders" that each of you had LIVED in that home...Found "hidden" treasures in overhead light fixtures...furniture with "carvings" and "writings" from not only you children...but, your friends...Holes in the ceilings (where Dave Joslyn went through after Caleb told him that the floor in the attic would hold him)...behind doors...even one in the hallway...that one of the "friends" feet went through...during a "hide and seek" game in the house...Combing the yard and finding my good Grandmother's real "silver" spoon used to dig in the dirt...Little things like that...Oh...one of the "surprises" is when we took an old PICTURE off the wall in Rebekah's old room...and found a BLOB of PAINT on the WALL...hidden behind the picture... Yeah....(smile)
