Dear Fellow Walmart Shopper,
I know that all while you were growing up, your parents taught you not to stare at other people because it's rude and makes people uncomfortable.
Now, I understand we must be quite the sight to see. In fact, I'd like to sit back and just watch us sometime. Three toddlers sitting in the basket of a shopping cart, each pushing and shoving each other, trying to climb out, or get the "best seat" in the basket. The screaming, crying, and whining as we race by the candy isle. Little hands grabbing things off the shelves if I happen to get to close.
A baby sits quietly in her car seat, arching her back and turning her head, desperately trying to see what all the fuss is going on behind her and getting just a bit upset that she can't join in on the "fun".
Several bright yellow diaper boxes, Walmart brand of course, adorn the base of the shopping cart. Their edges smashed down as they have been wedged in tightly to ensure that everything will fit. The bottom is stocked to avoid the inevitable fun of it all being thrown out by the rambunctious boys that are already taking up all the space inside the cart. Size 3 diapers, size 5 diapers, the biggest bag of the cheap pink pull-ups available that will be used by boy and girl alike, while the bonus box of wipes teeters on the edge.
But honestly, this whole, peeking out of the corner of your eye makes MY eyes hurt. I would rather you just give us a good solid stare and get your fill, then move on. But its kind of distracting for me when you try to be all sneaky. Glancing out of the corner of your eye, looking back over your shoulder over and over again, looking out, just barely, from behind the corner of the isle, or ducking your head down to look between the shirts on the clothes rack.
Please, just stare, smile, then finish your shopping.
Thank you so much for your time.
