Boys Will Be Boys

Its been raining quite a bit out here. At least, enough to soak the ground and leave puddles. And that's saying something!

Well, the internet guy came today, so we now have our own internet, yay! I was helping the guy with my computer when Alayna started fussing. I walked into the living room and glanced out the window.

I confess, my first reaction was, oh no! All I could see in my first glance was another mess that would need to be cleaned. But after watching for a second, I could see that they were having so much fun that my reaction changed, oh well! I remember loving to play in puddles as a kid.

The internet guy was about done. Again, I walk out into the living room to check on the kids. And what do I see? Joseph with his pants down around his ankles and as I was heading towards the door he started pulling them back up. So I call from the doorway, "Joseph, what are you doing!?"

He turned around and laughed, "Hahaha! I made bubbles in the puddle!"

Allow me to translate, "Hahaha! I peed in the puddle!"

I was mortified and quickly glanced up and down the street to make sure no one was watching. Well, it appeared all was safe, I can't be sure.

At least the puddle was moving and not stagnate, and at that point what could I do other than roll my eyes and go back inside?

The internet guy finished, I paid him then went out to check on the kids again.

Yes, they were indeed without their pants. but when the underwear started coming off, I had to put an end to their fun and bring them inside.

Well, I had to draw the line somewhere! And dare I add, boys will be boys!

That's a whole new spin that will probably affect my future joy in Puddle Hopping. I see Savannah has a collection of rocks in the pictures. And I'm sensing a great possibility in a "Popcorn Popping" rendition, though it probably would not end up Primary rated....

LOL, depends on the day. I have days when calm just doesn't seem possible.
