Trouble

I still can't walk, at all. My foot hurts like some big fat cow stomped on it (not that I've ever had a big fat cow stomp on me before, I'm just saying...)
My right knee feels like its going to blow out from all the one legged hopping I've been doing and both knees are sore from crawling around on the floor.
Clearly I have NOT eaten enough chocolate yet.

Well, I should look on the bright side of things. At least I damaged my left foot and not my right so I can still drive to the airport and I get to be pushed around the airport in a wheelchair!

Okay, so that can't be on my list. I HATE being pushed around in a wheelchair. I just feel silly and self-conscious.
Still, I suppose if I can have four kids ages four and down, I can brave one day at the airport all alone with a baby and a bad foot while sitting in a wheelchair... right?

Oh no, what if I have to use the bathroom....

Maybe you can figure out how to have a wheelchair race. It might be fun being pushed in one if you can go fast. Or Alayna might enjoy that....

Are you sure your foot is not broken? The way you're descibing it sounds like how I felt when I broke my foot. I only stepped down weird and rolled my foot to the side and that caused a ballerina fracture (sounds graceful, but it's not)in my foot.

If you get a wheelchair, make sure they communicate to the Orlando airport, so they have someone waiting for you. You could even have the person picking you up meet you at the gate. They just need to go to the ticket counter of the airline you are traveling on and explain they need to be there to help you off the plane. They will get a special ticket to get through security and will be there right when you get off the plane. Marvin did that for me a few times when I flew into Atlanta. I hated being pushed around in the wheelchair too.

Take care of your foot. Don't put off going to the doctor or you might cause more damage if it is broken. That's what I did. I kept "walking" on it and making it worse. I don't want to sound gloomy, but I want to make sure you are in one piece. =) Take care of your wonderful self! =)

I agree with Brenda. It sounds bad, so you should go see a doctor. With Luke working now, you should have decent insurance, right?

Sorry you are in so much pain! I hope it gets better so you aren't hobbling around for long. Have a good trip!
