Monday Morning News

Today we are going to discuss why it is best NOT to let fathers be in charge of lunch.

Reason 1. Corndogs
Reason 2. Fishsticks
Reason 3. Tatar Tots

Now excuse me while I go grab a trash can in case anyone is feeling queasy.
I had a salad..... and chocolate. About half a bag.

In other news, parents are discovering the tremendous influence older siblings have on the younger. In particular older sisters.
Tests have shown that older sisters will often set the standards in which their younger siblings will follow.
Observe.

And finally, Let's all remember this wise advice given to us from the cutest of the cute.

Thank you for that most inspiring message. I, for one, dream of being just like you!

This has been Monday Morning News with Serene, where the kids do their best to make mom a little thinner.
Too bad this method just isn't working. I guess I'll just have to do something drastic! Like, give up chocolate and start exercising.
Please note that these are very extreme methods and should be cleared with a psychiatrist first.
Thank you.

I love the last 2 pictures. And really, I don't think you need to give up both chocolate AND exercise. Maybe just the exercise. (I know what you meant, but I couldn't resist.) :-) Great post! And Merry Christmas!

Haha! I didn't notice that till you pointed it out Heidi. I fixed it.

And mom, for being willing to move back to the snow, I'm sure your mansion in heaven will double in size.
I hope dad gets the job!

Dad's lunch is full of carbs! I couldn't think of any way it could possibly be any healthier...

LOL, I know! Joseph loves to do all the "girly" things he sees his older sister do. Of course, i don't think it helps that she uses him as her personal guinea pig!

Serene,
I introduced Dale to your blog today and it was such fun. We laughed and laughed at a number of your posts. If giggles are healthy, then there may be enough of it going on at your house to offset the corn dogs and fish sticks!
Love,
Mona (and Dale)

P.S. Dale says, "What's the problem with corn dogs and fish sticks?"
