Someone Save Me From Myself!

It over!! I'm DOOOOOMMMEEDD!!!! I am powerless to resist! I'm weak! Oh so very very weak!! They are here...

If anyone looking at this scrumptious picture, has no idea the great wonder they are looking at, I would be so very ashamed of you.
Cadbury Mini Eggs. The world's greatest invention! And I'm DOOOOMMEEDD! I've already gone through two bags! (and I won't tell how long it took me to eat each bag cause you just might call a therapist on me)
My hips are SO mad at me right now! But I really want to go get another bag...

I'm also about to do something else really bad. Let me explain.
I didn't become an on-line shopper until I had kids. Anyone with kids knows how hard it is to go shopping with them. Might as well tie your shoelaces together and strap your arms to your head.
It is also rather difficult to go shopping when you have no money. Its sad, but true.
Still, I'm only human, and a girl, so yes, I get those shopping urges.
So when I get that strong desire to go buy something, I usually get on-line and browse. Just like I could spend a couple hours shopping in a store, I can also spend a couple hours shopping on-line.
I like to look at things that I want, but can't afford. Well, not that I like that I can't afford them, but, you know what I mean. I even have a folder on my computer full of pictures of furniture and such. Kind of like a "someday" folder.
(confession time) Sometimes, when I'm looking at clothes, I put everything I want into my "shopping bag" then click on the check-out button just to see how much it would all cost. I can easily get up to a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff, which is, of course, ridiculous.
Over the course of the next few days, I leave that page open and slowly eliminate the things I've decided I don't really want or don't need. I can usually get it down to just a couple of things. If, after a couple days of looking at the items, I still decide I really want them and are a reasonable price, I will sometimes, not always, buy one thing.

It started out innocent enough. I was looking for a certain recommended parenting book. Once I found it, I just sort of started looking at shoes. (I need to type this very softly cause Luke hates my newly found love for shoes) Its a fairly new faddish of mine. Just in the last year or so I have developed a love for shoes, especially heels. Its true, I love them!
So, right now, I have two pairs of shoes sitting in my "shopping bag" because I really want them. Both are on sale, and both are dang cute. And that stupid "place your order" button is just screaming at me! But guilt is holding me back. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out!

It all seems so silly doesn't it. So much fuss over something so unimportant. I mentioned to Luke that "I wanted these shoes I found". He just rolled his eyes and said, "don't you dare!" (sigh) Is it bad I'm feeling so worldly right now?

Well, you'll have to be ashamed of me. I hadn't a clue what I was looking at. And then when I found out, I was completely turned off. So glad someone still enjoys chocolate in this world.

What!? You don't like chocolate!? Oh that is sad. =)

Serene. Our job is to maintain the temporal well being of our children and man. Our brains are so concerned with protecting bodies it is certainly reasonable to be concerned about proper footwear. (Although, I think the heels and little boys might put you over the top.) Naturally, a mother must keep abreast of the current research in foot apparel. How else will we know who to trust with all those little (and big) toes?

I thought EVERY WOMAN...has a FOLDER of "dreams"...I do...I haunt every "Country Store" online...I mostly look for things that would be SO CUTE in our home...but, alas...most of my "dreams" are still in my FOLDER...Not to mention...GARDENING/FLOWERS sites...OH MY GOODNESS....I have created MORE GARDENS than even YOU can imagine....Yes, I do believe, EVERY WOMAN must have a FOLDER...Never know...when those DREAMS will BECOME a REALITY...if not HERE in this life...but, SURELY, I will be able to DECORATE AND PLANT when I get my "mansion" from ON HIGH...(smile)

why did you give them grape juice and let them have it on their bed?

I gave them juice in the kitchen then sat down to feed Alayna. While I was doing that they managed to knock the stopper out of the lid of the cup and do the damage. Its amazing what they can do while you're busy.

Tell Luke your father said so!
