Strawberry Happiness

Joseph's getting pretty quick in the kitchen these days. If I don't keep a close watch on him he just pushes a chair over to the counter and helps himself to whatever he wants. I have caught him a few times with a knife trying get himself a slice of cheese or to cut up fruit, or something. Gives me a heart attack! No wonder mom's go gray so fast! He has also taken to opening the fridge and pulling out the big juice pitcher so he can get a drink. So far no major disasters on that end, (I know, I know, sorry to disappoint everyone) but I am constantly having to wipe up little spills.
But today, the strawberries were on the counter because the boys had been chowing them down all day. But I guess that wasn't enough and Joseph was ready for another one. So he pushed his chair over to the counter and got a strawberry for himself and one for Jacob who was begging down below. The pictures don't do it justice but it was so funny and so cute to see these two monkeys sitting on the kitchen floor together scarfing down their strawberries and laughing as though they had just done something terribly clever.

And despite all the minor catastrophes that have been going on around here, I was finally able to finish the last drawing for the Primary 2008 collection! Yea! Go me! Go me! Its hard to draw during the day since there are so many distractions so I do most of my drawing after the kids are in bed. Anyway, let me know what you think of them!

Congratulations on getting your calendar done! It looks AMAZING! I can totally relate with the 'trying to get art done with kids around' scenerio. I bascially decided to only draw when Audrey is taking a nap or in bed for the night. Otherwise its just to hard and pointless. So I tip my had to you on being able to accomplish both!

Those drawings are amazing, and I know a good drawing when I see one since my dad does charcoal and oil portraits(http://ShesGotYourEyes.com/). I hope people buy them from you!!!
