SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Well, I see no point in not making the official announcement since word is starting to spread. It is true, we are expecting Heiner Baby 4 and I have proof. Obviously the white blob inside the black blob is the baby.

Normally I don't go to see the Doctor until I am about half-way along just so I can find out if its a boy or a girl. But a couple weeks ago I had some pretty bad cramping and bleeding so I went to the Doctor to find out what was going on. Well, they have no idea what the bleeding was but obviously the baby is just fine. Savannah had me a bit nervous when she informed me that I had two babies in my tummy, her sister and a girl! But, as you can see, there is just one heartbeat.
I am almost 8 weeks along and my due date is January 30, 2009.
Well, morning sickness hit full force Thursday of last week. Yup, I remember to the day because it is hard to miss when you feel like you are on your death bed! Ugh and Bah Humbug is all I have to say about that! I suddenly remember why I hate being pregnant so much.
Still, despite the horrific nausea that I am dealing with, my appetite has tripled. I eat all day long and I eat in large amounts. Of course, every time I eat, I wish I hadn't cause I feel worse, but at the same time,  I can't stand to be hungry. Its a no win situation.  I have already out-grown my skinny clothes and am steadily moving up the size rack. Each time I get pregnant I promise myself that this time I am going to eat healthy and work out so I will be one fit, sexy mamma! And each time I am stricken down to my death bed with no ambition to do anything expect eat, and then wish I hadn't eaten it.
Well, on that happy note I wish to express how excited we are to have another baby! I mean it though, we are very excited. This baby will be the furthest apart from the others yet! Savannah and Joseph are 18.5 months apart, Joseph and Jacob are 14 months apart, now Jacob and Baby will be 21 months apart. Yup, its all craziness!
And I know what you Wymount women are thinking so, let's have it, lay it on me!

Congratulations! I think being pregnant is fun except for the part where I can't keep up with Tyrus. I went swimsuit shopping(more like browsing) the other day and they had the suits right next to the maternity clothes. It was the first time that I actually missed my maternity clothes! That is mainly because there are tons of cute maternity clothes and you can actually get away with looking cute while wearing a tent and swimsuits on the other hand...well, that is rather depressing!=) But, just because I miss the maternity clothes doesn't mean I miss being pregnant! (I just want to make that clear, so no one misinterprets that=D ) I think I'll have to wait tell Bubba is 5 or so, before the next one comes.

I hadn't expected that, considering some of the comments I've heard you make in the last year! :-) But congratulations! Your first baby born outside of Utah! I'm sure the baby will be just as adorable and wonderful as the other 3. I just wish I lived near you to be able to see them all!

Congratulations Serene! I hear you about the determination to exercise and eat well, and then the eating whatever sounds remotely edible at the time. Oh well. By the way, you always looked great to me while you were pregnant.

I knew it wouldn't be long before I saw this blog post. :) I am so excited for you! Congratulations!! I hope your morning sickness doesn't last too long. Despite what you may think, I think you look great when you're pregnant, and incredibly skinny when you're not--how do you do it?! Especially after three kids?? I'm glad you're so excited. You have such great kids.

Wow! Congratulations! Its so weird to think that your only a year older than me, and your about to have 4 kids! I personally, can't picture myself now with 4 kids! So more props to you my friend. I know how you feel on the whole 'morning sickness' part. I pretty much puked anywhere from 3-10 times a day from about 8-20 weeks! Good luck with that...you have my sympathy:-)
I also loved your 4-wheeling adventures...I love 4-wheeling. And what a beautiful view! Take care Sarah! I love watching your family grow up...so keep up the good work with posting:-)

Wowee woman!! Congrats to you and Luke and all your little ones. I do think you're crazy but good crazy! I just know I couldn't do it. I'm 24 and just trying so hard to prepare for having a little one in our home but my goodness Serene... you're 23 or 24 right? And well ahead of me but definitely an inspiration. I'm so excited for you guys. Plus.. Just think... you are like the coolest, hottest, youngest mom EVER! My mom is just 22 years older than me and she's my best friend and she's way cool and a hot mom! That's exactly what you will be to your kids. I hope you feel better. I had a terrible first trimester and it's getting rough again. Especially on my back since I'm so darn short. I'm due in 11 weeks but people think I'm past due :)

You guys are all so funny and so great! Thanks for the congrats and yes, I know we are crazy. That's me Crazy Serene. =) Actually, I will be 25 in August, see, I'm getting old! =) Oh, and by the way, I'm excited that you all finally broke the 10 comment only record on my blog, yea!

hmm, guess my comment didn't get on here somehow. I think I said CONGRATS! And you will be a great mom. Just one more cute Heiner kid to add to the bunch. And, for Savannah's sake, I hope it's a girl too :) And that whole nausea thing does NOT sound fun. Good luck with getting over that quickly! Oh and also, what comments were you expecting from Wymount women?

Serene is my name, not my life! said...

LOL, I was expecting something like, you're crazy! Crazy Crazy! Insane! Wacko! Completely lost your mind! I did have one person say that to me. And that okay, I like being crazy. =)

Kent said...

Here I'll take care of it...

You're crazy, insane, whacko, nuts, and out of your minds....to have another cute kid without the Fairbourns there to babysit :)

ldsjaneite said...

I wouldn't call you crazy. Both our mothers had 7 children within 8 years. And they seem fairly sane to me. At least, compared to our fathers. :-)

Serene is my name, not my life! said...

Oh man Kent, you are so right! Geez what were we thinking! I guess you guys just have to move out here! =)

LOL, that's SO true Heidi! Actually, when I was at the doctor's office this last time, I was there with the three kids alone cause Luke bailed on me at the last second so I'm chasing them around trying to keep them out of everything and the doctor said to me, don't worry, I know exactly how you feel! We had 6 kids between the ages of 13 and 1. And I was just like, nope, no, not quite the same, sorry. Of course I didn't say that out loud. But it is hard to be amazed when my mom did have 7 within 8 years. Not that its isn't hard, one kid is hard! Its just that I'm not easily impressed.

I'm glad that you're crazy and having another one, your kids are so much fun. I'm sad I won't get to see this one in person. Congrats, I'm really excited for you!

Luke and Serene we couldn't be happier for you. My mom always said if you can handle 3 you can handle any number of kids. You better post lots of pictures of your growing belly since we aren't in Wymount anymore.

Congrats Serene!

Wow, Serene. I wasn't expecting this because of stuff you've said over the last few years. Aren't those first pictures so sweet? We didn't have that with Grayson and I kind of missed it.

I really hope the morning sickness doesn't last long. I know you have rough pregnancies.

It's a good thing you blog or we'd never keep up on the family news! lol

Its true! Well, Savannah and Joseph both came a little sooner than expected but they were in a way planned. Jacob really threw me for a loop since I had planned on taking a long break. And then of course, after he was born I was so sure it would be a while before we even thought about another one. But, as Jacob drew closer to his first birthday, I just couldn't shake the feeling that we were suppose to have another one very soon. And, oddly enough, I was okay with that... even though I really do hate being pregnant more than anything else in the world! =)

Serene---
Welcome to the crazy club, we've got t-shirts...in maternity sizes. I love that you are pregnant again and that you are excited. I love all my kids and even though sometimes I think I am going insane, I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus, if anyone can handle it, you can. I love how patient you are with your kids. You are such an example to me. I miss seeing you around!
Love--
Kelsey
