Pass the Peanut Butter!

Today was peanut butter faddish day. I'm not sure why it was, it just was. I had put some peanut butter in a shake I made for the kids this morning. I left it out on the counter which I realized later was not my best idea. Savannah decided that she wanted to eat it with a spoon! But being the creative child she is, she thought she would do a little experimenting. She ran back to me with the most excited look on her face as she said, "mom, I had peanut butter and sugar!" Sure enough she had dipped her spoonful of peanut butter in the jar of sugar. Oh well, at least there was no mess. Then later, Joseph decided that he too wanted some peanut butter; however, he's not quite as clean. Since the peanut butter was almost gone he had to stick his whole arm into the jar!

I used to always eat peanut butter on a spoon after school! I loved it. Great source of protein too!

My grandmother used to give the kids "peanut butter popsicles" when she was getting fed up with the noise. She would give each of us a spoonful of peanut butter and send us outside to eat it. It definately gave her a few moments of peace and quiet.
