The Dress

So, here's the infamous red dress that was discussed in the last post. After wearing it all day today I have decided that I love it and I'm glad I got it. Dresses aren't particularly flattering on me, but I like this style.
And, wow, I really do look like a teenager still, especially in these pictures! No wonder people always stare at me when I'm out with my kids, they're probably trying to figure out if I'm old enough to be their mother or if I'm their big sister!

Very lovely! Empire waists are flattering on most gals. It looks great on you. And at least people think you're young! Better than thinking you look old!

You look very pretty. I think it takes practice to be okay with buying things for yourself. And...it is okay. It is also better to buy things once in a while rather than never buy anything and then all of a sudden you have nothing and you have to spend mega bucks. By the way your place looks nice from the pics. Hooray for real carpet!

You look amazing! I am so jealous at how you got your body back so quick after Jacob. And kept it!

Hey! I love the dress! It's adorable and you look gorgeous in it! I bet Luke's jaw just about hit the floor! I'm glad you rewarded yourself and got it. You work hard and give everything you got to your family. You deserve a little sometimes. Super cute, hot mama!

You look awesome! Not fair! I'd never know you have 3 kids. You look amazing. By the way... what shirt is that you are wearing under it? I have always loved your solid shirts you wear and couldn't ever figure out if they were shade, layers, down east or what??

Shucks guys, you made me blush!! Its amazing what the right clothes can hide! =)
Jamie, I buy all those shirts at DownEast. I love them. I have them in like 6 or 7 colors! I have a couple Shade ones but I only buy those when they are on clearance, otherwise too expensive. I did buy a few in XL when I was pregnant with Jacob and wore them all my last trimester cause I was SO SICK of maternity clothes and they were the best! So comfortable!

Everyone has already said so much that I agree with. There's no way a dress could look bad on you. And I know you try to work out often to keep yourself healthy, so way to go. Don't feel bad about treating yourself sometimes. I think a happy mommy makes for a happy family.
